Lobethal Bierhaus

The Lobethal Bierhaus opened for business on 26th May 2007. Our operation includes a small all-grain micro brewery (12 Hecto-Litre Brew Length) with accompanying cellar door tasting facilities, off-license bottle sales and a restaurant with matching beer themed foods built around unique local produce. Our location, Lobethal in the rolling countryside of the Adelaide Hills, is easily accessible, being just 45 minutes from the City centre and on the tourist trail to many local attractions.

We produce award winning true hand crafted character beers in various styles. Currently on tap we have a German Wheat Beer, an American style Pale Ale, an India Pale Ale, a Porter and our just released Pilsner with more lines being introduced soon. A visit to our brewery includes an introduction to the considerable history of brewing in our local area (dating back to the 1850’s), a completely open sharing of both our passion for brewing and the equipment / techniques we use, whilst also providing an opportunity to taste great beer in a friendly environment.
