“Where flows gold, soon flows beer”. “Seven Star Wallace” arrived in Rutherglen (then known as Barkly) shortly after the gold rush began in 1860. He came to quench the thirst of those that struck it rich and drown the sorrows of those that failed.
“Seven Star” shouted the bar for the naming rights to the town. So for the price of a few beers he renamed the town after his birthplace in Scotland and so Rutherglen, Victoria was born.
All beers are lovingly hand-crafted in small batches with rich full bodied flavours and hop profiling to reflect seasonality creating genuinely sessionable beers.
